Foster® 42-24™ Mast-A-Fab® Reinforcing Membrane has a leno weave that gives stability to the fabric, eliminating the thread movement and distortion inherent to plain weave cloths. It will not detectably affect the flame spread and smoke developed ratings of the selected mastic or coating.

Mast-A-Fab Reinforcing Membrane is easy to bond to and wets out readily compared to glass cloth. This minimizes the possibility of disbonding of tack and finish coats, a common problem with glass membrane reinforcement.

Because it weighs only 0.9 ounces per square yard, about half the weight of glass cloth, Mast-A-Fab Reinforcing Membrane is easy to work with. A full roll can easily be "one handed" for a faster, trouble free installation.
